HAVE A BULK MATERIAL HANDLING CHALLENGE? DI3 HAS THE SOLUTION!
Whether it is designing a fully integrated material handling system, obtaining spares for existing bulk material handling equipment or working the kinks out of a troublesome process, DI3 is your bulk material handling resource in Ontario, Canada.
HERE IS OUR APPROACH... CONTACT DI3
An informal telephone conversation or email describing your needs will get the ball rolling. We can provide insight to present bulk material handling problems and options for upcoming projects and systems.
APPLICATION DATA SHEET
An application data sheet (ADS) is the first step as this will give us the specifics we will need to address your material handling challenge. What is your material, the bulk density, how far and how fast must your material travel, what is the temperature? These and many other particulars will be unique to your process and must be determined.
SITE VISIT
After reviewing the specifics of your process, a site visit may be arranged to complete an audit of the existing material handling system so that we may knowledgeably discuss your requirements. We can then let you know how the present handling system may be optimized or the benefits of replacing it with an alternate materials handling technology.
TROUBLESHOOTING
While on site, fresh eyes and decades of practical hands-on experience allow for on the spot troubleshooting. Frequently, this results in a no-cost solution and the confirmation that you have a friend in the business!
MATERIALS TESTING AND EVALUATION
Materials testing and evaluation is often required to ensure a solution that will satisfy your unique requirements, especially if you are working with challenging or unique materials. Testing will minimize your exposure to risk and assist in the selection and configuration of the most appropriate handling equipment. Full scale laboratory testing by our equipment manufacturers is also available and may be arranged through DI3.
TRIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT
In-plant demo equipment is available for rental and a percentage of rental fees may be applied to the purchase of your equipment.
MATERIAL HANDLING FEASIBILITY STUDIES, PRELIMINARY AND FIRM PROPOSALS
Upon evaluation of the above, DI3 will work with the equipment manufacturers to create a feasibility report and then if justified, either a preliminary or firm proposal for your consideration.
POST SALE COMMISSIONING
DI3 is your liaison for post-sale commissioning of your equipment. Depending upon the complexity of your project, you may wish to have a service specialist from the handling equipment manufacturer arrive on site to manage your start-up.
CONSULTING ENGINEERING FIRMS
DI3 works cooperatively with consulting engineering firms to create bid packages and ensure that all of your designs completely satisfy your client’s needs and obligations. DI3 and our manufacturers can support you with every step along the design path, ensuring that your material handling equipment system is in compliance with all codes including CSA, NEMA, NSF, ATEX and others.
